So its 2009. Another year has gone faster than any other. Im not sure whether it was the media, or my lack of caring, but Christmas didn't seem very festive this year. I even forgot to put up my stocking! Never happens.
But it does mean that I am now in possesion of a D-SLR Camera of my own, so I can take as many photos as I want ^^ My first set [see gallery], didn't turn out too bad, but nowhere near as good as I'de like them to be, so I've got my work cut out to learn the way of the photographer.
New Year was equally as un-eventful as Christmas, with me playing Guitar Hero: World Tour with my friends all evening [except for about 10 minutes around midnight]. Again, not much hype leading up to midnight, but a lot of fun playing the drums. So another year, another set of challenges. I haven't bothered making any resolutions this year, as I won't stick to them. But maybe I'll make some subconsciously, and still not stick to them. At least people won't know, mwa ha ha.
I saw Twilight yesterday, and I have never heard of the books before, although I'm not sure if they were ever published in the UK. I didn't really like the look of it when i saw the trailer, but still wanted to find out if it was any good, and I must say, i was quite shocked. The beginning was a bit strange, with Robert Pattinson [Edward] looking at Kristen Stewart [Bella] as if he genuinly wanted to kill her. But once they got to know each other, it grew on me, and by the end of the film I quite enjoyed it. It's quite odd to see the crowds of teenagers gathering at airports and hotels all over the world to get a glimpse of Robert Pattinson. You'd think that the hours of waiting in the cold and rain wouldn't be worth the wait for the few seconds they actually see him.
Alas, I shall never understand the minds of some people. Maybe I'll pick up the book and find out what the attraction is for myself.
And on that note, I end.
Happy New Year x
